New Office Choir Launched…
September 2016 saw the launch of a brand new choir for the staff of Headley Court, the rehabilitation centre for the armed forces. For one hour per week during the lunchtime break, 30 of the staff come together and sing. It is a chance for the staff to forget about work and lift themselves to another place.
Through the choir’s infancy they have found that already, they are meeting people within the workforce that they didn’t know previously.
Singing is a great leveller, no matter what your pay band, rank or previous experience, the choir make music and unite.
They are eagerly planning their first performances to some of the rest of the workforce in the next few weeks, which is pretty good going for a choir that’s barely 3 months young!
